Chaque album est un voyage, voyons o\u00f9 celui-ci nous m\u00e8nera !<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Pas de fioritures, \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\"><i>Memorial<\/i><\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00bb ne comporte pas d&rsquo;introduction, on rentre directement dans le vif du sujet avec \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Sincere<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00ab\u00a0. Comme d&rsquo;habitude, petit point mixage et son : il est tr\u00e8s \u00e9quilibr\u00e9, avec ce qu&rsquo;il faut de puissance sur les guitares mais sans \u00e9touffer les autres instruments, parfait pour appr\u00e9cier comme il se doit un album de\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">prog&rsquo;<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">. Comme je l&rsquo;ai dit en introduction, les influences de\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Soen\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">sont nombreuses et on les ressent au fur et \u00e0 mesure de l&rsquo;album ou m\u00eame au sein des titres. Si \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Violence<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00ab\u00a0, \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Fortress<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00ab\u00a0, \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Memorial<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00ab\u00a0, \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Incendiary<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Icon<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00bb sonnent plut\u00f4t\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">metal\u00a0<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">dans leur composition (le riff d&rsquo;introduction de \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Violence<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00bb ne ferait pas t\u00e2che sur un album de\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Gojira<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">), elles ne plongent jamais totalement dedans avec des \u00e9l\u00e9ments plus\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">rock<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">. A contrario \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Tragedian<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00bb \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Hollowed<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00bb (avec la pr\u00e9sence de la chanteuse pop\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Elisa<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">) et \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Vitals<\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00bb sonnent, elles, plus\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">pop\/rock<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">, mais toujours avec des \u00e9l\u00e9ments\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">metal\u00a0<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">ici et l\u00e0. Les compositions sont complexes, mais comme je l&rsquo;ai dit, elles ne versent jamais dans la d\u00e9monstration technique. C&rsquo;est ce qui permet d&rsquo;appr\u00e9cier \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\"><i>Memorial<\/i><\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re \u00e9coute et ce n&rsquo;est pas quelque chose de courant lorsque l&rsquo;on \u00e9coute un album de progressif ! Malgr\u00e9 ce m\u00e9lange des styles constant, l&rsquo;\u00e9coute de l&rsquo;album \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\"><i>Memorial<\/i><\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00bb est tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able, car chaque titre apporte quelque chose de nouveau. Les riffs de guitare sont tranchants, le chant de\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Joel Ekel\u00f6f<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0est prenant, sans \u00eatre aussi impressionnant que son homologue\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">Einar Solberg<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0de\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify; font-weight: bold;\">Leprous<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">, mais il sied \u00e0 merveille \u00e0 l&rsquo;identit\u00e9 de\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify; font-weight: bold;\">Soen\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">! Il y a des signes comme \u00e7a qui ne trompent pas quand viens le temps de faire la critique d&rsquo;un album et qui prouvent que le mot \u00ab\u00a0critique\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 aussi un c\u00f4t\u00e9 positif ! Je me demandais en introduction o\u00f9 nous m\u00e8nerai le voyage \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><u style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\"><i>Memorial<\/i><\/u><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">\u00ab\u00a0? C&rsquo;est un aller direct aux fronti\u00e8res du\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">metal<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">, du\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">rock\u00a0<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">et de la\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">pop<\/i><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, Georgia; text-align: justify;\">, tout en ne passant jamais compl\u00e9tement de l&rsquo;autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l&rsquo;une ou de l&rsquo;autre. Un num\u00e9ro d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibriste parfaitement ex\u00e9cut\u00e9 et qu&rsquo;il me tarde de voir en concert !
