L\u2019intention du groupe, r\u00e9cemment form\u00e9<\/span>, n\u2019\u00e9tait pas de proposer un autre projet parall\u00e8le ou un \u00ab supergroupe \u00bb mais plut\u00f4t une r\u00e9incarnation collective de trois forces du metal. En quelques mots, est-ce que tu peux commencer par pr\u00e9senter ton nouveau groupe?<\/span>
Oui, nous sommes DIETH ! <\/span>

Dieth est donc compos\u00e9 de <\/span>David Ellefson<\/span> (ex-Megadeth), <\/span>Micha\u0142<\/span> \u0141ysejko<\/span> (ex-Decapitated) et toi-m\u00eame <\/span>Guilherme<\/span> Miranda<\/span> (ex-Entombed AD) : comment vous vous \u00eates rencontr\u00e9s, d\u2019autant plus que vous venez de styles musicaux diff\u00e9rents?<\/span>
Nous nous sommes rencontr\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un ami commun des \u00c9tats-Unis, <\/span>Opus<\/span>, du groupe <\/span>Dead By Wednesday<\/span>. Il nous a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par <\/span>Martin<\/span> de <\/span>Destruction<\/span>. Nous nous connaissions d\u00e9j\u00e0 pour avoir jou\u00e9 dans des festivals et d’autres choses. Nous avons nos noms dans le milieu, donc quand nous sommes entr\u00e9s en contact, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 facile de d\u00e9velopper une conversation musicale.<\/span>

Vous formez donc un trio : pourquoi ne pas avoir ajouter une deuxi\u00e8me guitare?<\/span>
Nous travaillons comme une machine \u00e0 trois. Nous sommes extr\u00eamement productifs lorsque nous sommes ensemble et nos id\u00e9es s’accordent parfaitement. J’\u00e9cris g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement des lignes de guitare pour deux guitares et nous avons toujours un musicien sur sc\u00e8ne avec nous. Cela a tr\u00e8s bien fonctionn\u00e9 lors de notre premi\u00e8re tourn\u00e9e live et nous allons continuer comme \u00e7a car nous sommes d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s forts !<\/span>

Ensemble, vous jouez un m\u00e9lange de death et thrash metal : quels sont les groupes qui vous ont influenc\u00e9 dans vos compositions? Et comment?<\/span>
Je pense que c’est toute une vie dans le metal et l’\u00e9coute de la musique qui nous influence tous. Et, bien s\u00fbr, nous avons nos propres sons issus de nos travaux pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents qui, ensemble, ajoutent une saveur super cool \u00e0 nos chansons, ce qui est tr\u00e8s positif.<\/span>

Dans une pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente interview, notamment dans le cadre d\u2019une promo pour KroW, tu as d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que \u00ab <\/span>Rust in Peace<\/span> \u00bb de Megadeth \u00e9tait l\u2019un de tes 3 albums phares : aujourd\u2019hui, est-ce que tu as la pression de travailler avec son ancien bassiste, David Ellefson?<\/span>
Oui, et je tiens parole. \u00ab <\/span>Rust in Peace<\/span> \u00bb est l’album qui m’a fait prendre une guitare et d\u00e9cider de devenir guitariste. Il n’y a pas de pression du tout, en fait \u00e7a ne fait qu’ajouter de l’\u00e9nergie pour que je travaille de mieux en mieux. C’est l’un des cadeaux de la vie, n’est-ce pas ? J’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de devenir guitariste gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cet album, et maintenant je joue avec le gars qui l’a fait. C’est un sentiment extraordinaire.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Les chansons de Dieth parlent de la mort, de la perte ou encore de la vengeance (par exemple) : dans le groupe, qui \u00e9crit les paroles? Quels sont les messages que vous voulez faire passer?<\/span>
David<\/span> et moi \u00e9crivons les paroles. Nous voulons faire passer nos sentiments int\u00e9rieurs dans ces chansons. Ce sont certaines de nos perceptions des exp\u00e9riences de la vie. Dans mon cas, j’en ai eu beaucoup de moments sombres, et j’ai utilis\u00e9 ces paroles et ces chansons pour en faire quelque chose de mieux et sortir de la d\u00e9pression.<\/span>

<\/span>Cet album est aussi la toute premi\u00e8re performance vocale de <\/span>David<\/span> sur le morceau \u00ab <\/span>Walk With Me Forever<\/span> \u00bb : est-ce que l\u2019exercice a \u00e9t\u00e9 naturel pour lui?<\/span>
Oui ! En fait, je l’ai pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 chanter, parce que je sais qu’il a une voix incroyable et que je l’aime depuis les ann\u00e9es 90. Ses ch\u0153urs sont une marque de fabrique dans le genre. Je me suis dit qu’il fallait le mettre en avant. <\/span>Micha\u0142<\/span> et moi l’avons en quelque sorte coinc\u00e9 (rire) dans le studio avec des id\u00e9es, et il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 les enregistrer. Nous nous sommes beaucoup amus\u00e9s en faisant cela.<\/span>

<\/span>\u00ab <\/span>To Hell And Back<\/span> \u00bb se cl\u00f4ture par l\u2019instrumentale \u00ab <\/span>Severance<\/span> \u00bb : certains groupes placent ce genre de chanson en d\u00e9but d\u2019album pour former une introduction ou au milieu d\u2019un album pour former une interlude, pourquoi avoir fait le choix de mettre la votre en fin d\u2019album? De plus, il semblerait qu\u2019elle ferme la boucle initi\u00e9e par l\u2019introduction de la premi\u00e8re chanson \u00ab <\/span>To Hell And Back<\/span> \u00bb : est-ce le cas?<\/span>
C’est exactement le cas ! J’ai eu beaucoup de r\u00e9flexions \u00e0 ce sujet, comme le fait que la fin n’est que le d\u00e9but, tu sais ? Si vous \u00e9coutez l’album en boucle deux fois, vous aurez ce sentiment.<\/span>

Quelle est la chanson dont tu es le plus fier ou quelle chanson a une signification particuli\u00e8re pour toi ou pour le groupe?<\/span>
Toutes les chansons ont une signification tr\u00e8s profonde pour moi. \u00ab <\/span>Walk with Me Forever<\/span> \u00bb parle de ma fa\u00e7on de faire face \u00e0 la mort. J’ai fait un tatouage d’un ami d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 sur ma jambe droite. C’est le concept, il marchera avec moi pour toujours, c’\u00e9tait mon ultime hommage \u00e0 lui et je voulais en parler dans une chanson. Je suis tr\u00e8s fier de celle-ci, c’est quelque chose de diff\u00e9rent et cela nous permet d’aller musicalement o\u00f9 nous voulons. Il y a aussi \u00ab <\/span>Dead Inside<\/span> \u00bb, \u00ab <\/span>Don’t get mad … Get Even!<\/span> \u00bb et surtout \u00ab <\/span>The Mark of Cain<\/span> \u00bb, qui s’adresse \u00e0 certains connards toxiques que j’ai rencontr\u00e9s dans ma vie. Quand je chante cette chanson en live, \u00e7a me fait du bien de la sortir.<\/span>

Finalement, cet album symbolise un nouveau d\u00e9part pour chacun d\u2019entre-vous?<\/span>
\u00c0 100% ! Et surtout, cet album me prouve qu’il est bon de repartir de z\u00e9ro. Je n’avais pas cette mentalit\u00e9 auparavant, et ce groupe a chang\u00e9 cela.<\/span><\/b>

Et enfin, vous \u00eates \u00e0 l\u2019affiche de quatre festivals cet \u00e9t\u00e9. Mais dans le cadre d\u2019une tourn\u00e9e, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de quels groupes aimeriez-vous vous produire?<\/span>
Il y en a tellement ! J’aimerais tourner avec <\/span>Testament<\/span>, <\/span>Kreator<\/span>, <\/span>Sepultura<\/span>, <\/span>Gojira<\/span>, <\/span>Behemoth<\/span> et ainsi de suite.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
