Cradle of Filth<\/b> est de retour avec leur 13\u00e8me<\/sup> album sombrement intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Existence is Futile<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb. Les ma\u00eetres et pionniers du black metal reviennent 4 ans apr\u00e8s \u00ab\u00a0Cryptoriana<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb et avec un petit changement de line-up entre temps\u00a0: Anabelle<\/i> Iratni<\/i> remplace Lindsey<\/i> Schoolcraft<\/i> au clavier et au chant clair. Cradle of Filth <\/b>c’est 30 ans d’existence et 13 albums au compteur, mais avec tout \u00e7a, ont-ils encore quelques choses de nouveau \u00e0 proposer\u00a0? Ou bien est-ce l’album de trop\u00a0? Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette question, je vais devoir revenir un peu en arri\u00e8re, et en 2014 pour \u00eatre plus pr\u00e9cis avec la gen\u00e8se de \u00ab\u00a0Hammer of the Witches<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb. 2014 est l’ann\u00e9e o\u00f9 le groupe \u00e0 connu un grand changement de line-up, et peut \u00eatre le meilleur changement de leur histoire. Marek<\/i> ‘Ashok’ S\u030c<\/i><\/span><\/span>merda <\/i>et <\/span>Richard<\/i> Shaw<\/i> ont int\u00e9gr\u00e9 les postes de guitaristes et un an apr\u00e8s le groupe sort leur chef d\u2019\u0153uvre intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Hammer of the Witches<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb (qui est \u00e0 mon avis le meilleur album de leur discographie et le meilleur album de 2015). Vous voyez o\u00f9 je veux en venir\u00a0?<\/span> Cradle of Filth <\/b>version 2015 est un nouveau groupe avec un potentiel monumental. S’en suit la sortie de \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Cryptoriana<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb en 2017 (encore un tr\u00e8s bon album)\u00a0; et aujourd’hui, apr\u00e8s 4 longues ann\u00e9es (merci covid), la sortie du tant attendu \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Existence is Futile<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb. Je vais allez droit au but, je pense qu’aucun album ne pourra surpass\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Hammer of the Witches<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb, mais ce cru 2021 est vraiment tr\u00e8s tr\u00e8s bon. L’approche sur ce nouvel album est tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente. En effet, puisque \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Existence is Futile<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb se veut plus th\u00e9\u00e2trale et dramatique, ainsi le titre de l’album et l’introduction de l’album en t\u00e9moignent. Ce qui rend cet album plus int\u00e9ressant vient notamment de sa construction\u00a0: l’album comprends 12 chansons dont 3 interludes. \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Existence is Futile<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb est \u00e9crit comme si on lisait un livre ou comme si on regardait une pi\u00e8ce de th\u00e9\u00e2tre. Il serait donc divis\u00e9 en 3 actes et chaque interlude serait le d\u00e9but de ces actes. Maintenant on attaque la plat de r\u00e9sistance, c’est-\u00e0-dire LA MUSIQUE et on s’en prend encore plein les oreilles\u00a0! Le groupe ne fait jamais dans les 3 minutes standard, de ce fait les chansons oscillent entre 4 et 6 minutes. La Cradle touch se reconna\u00eet de loin\u00a0: des envol\u00e9es symphoniques, des riffs en pagaille, une batterie ultra dynamique et le chant si particulier de <\/span>Dani Filth<\/i>. Bref on ne s’ennuie jamais\u00a0! Comme je vous le mentionnait pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment l’album se veut plus dramatique, voir m\u00eame tragique. La chanson \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Discourse Between a Man and his Soul<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb est le parfait exemple. On est loin du c\u00f4t\u00e9 extr\u00eame du black metal, le groupe a ralenti le tempo et a mis l’accent sur l’atmosph\u00e8re et l’\u00e9motion des orchestrations.<\/span><\/p>

Alors comment r\u00e9sumer \u00ab\u00a0Existence is Futile<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0? C’est s\u00fbrement l’album le plus travaill\u00e9 de leur discographie, ils ont trouv\u00e9 le parfait \u00e9quilibre entre le c\u00f4t\u00e9 extr\u00eame du black metal et le c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e9motionnel v\u00e9hicul\u00e9 par les instruments et les orchestrations. Les musiciens d\u00e9livrent une excellente performance, tr\u00e8s technique et tr\u00e8s coh\u00e9rente et on retrouve un Dani Filth<\/i> en grande forme. Cradle of Filth <\/b>continue sur sa lanc\u00e9e et \u00e9crit une nouvelle page dans leur carri\u00e8re avec un excellent nouvel album. Les fans de la premi\u00e8re heure seront ravis et les nouveaux y trouveront certainement leur compte. L’existence est certainement futile, mais Cradle of Filth<\/b> ne l’est certainement pas\u00a0!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
