2021 est vraiment l’ann\u00e9e ultime pour tout les fans de deathcore. Apr\u00e8s Osiah<\/b>, Mental<\/b> Cruelty<\/b>, Slaughter<\/b> to<\/b> Prevail<\/b>, Carnifex<\/b> et plein d’autres… c’est au tour de Signs of the Swarm <\/b>de faire parler d’eux. \u00ab\u00a0Absolvere<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb est leur 4\u00e8me<\/sup> album, et le deuxi\u00e8me album avec leur nouveau vocaliste. Que vaut cet album par rapport \u00e0 leur discographie\u00a0? Arrivera-t-il \u00e0 se faire un chemin parmi les grosses sorties de cette ann\u00e9e\u00a0? \u00c0 ce stade de l’ann\u00e9e, il est compliqu\u00e9 de pourvoir \u00eatre surpris par un album de deathcore. Mental<\/b> Cruelty<\/b>, Osiah<\/b>, Brand<\/b> of<\/b> Sacrifice<\/b> et j’en passe qui ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait le taff cette ann\u00e9e. C’est donc avec aucune attente en particulier que je me lance dans \u00ab\u00a0Absolvere<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb. Mais en tant que grand fan de deathcore, j’en attend beaucoup de ce groupe et de leur nouvelle livraison. Force est de dire que finalement il ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 me surprendre dans les deux sens\u00a0: on retrouve le c\u00f4t\u00e9 brut de d\u00e9coffrage qui ont fait leur renomm\u00e9e, mais cette fois-ci ils ont voulu \u00e9toffer leur son et surtout frapper un grand coup avec des pistes m\u00e9morables (l’\u00e9normissime \u00ab\u00a0Nameless<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Death Whistle<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb). L’important dans cet album n’est pas seulement la musique, cette fois, le groupe s’est plong\u00e9 dans le th\u00e8me de l’esprit humain. Le concept est \u00e0 la fois sombre et tortueux. Et en sachant \u00e7a, on fait rapidement le rapprochement avec la musique et la direction des nouvelles offrandes. Les compositions se veulent plus froides et visc\u00e9rales qu’\u00e0 l’accoutum\u00e9e. Les chansons comme \u00ab\u00a0Boundless Manifestatio<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Totem<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Nameless<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb et les deux tr\u00e8s bons derniers morceaux \u00ab\u00a0Blood Seal<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Death Whistle\u00a0<\/u>\u00bb tapent dur. Non pas seulement avec la lourdeur des instruments, mais aussi avec la prestation du chanteur David S<\/i>imonich<\/i>, qui arrive \u00e0 donner une r\u00e9elle profondeur dans certain de ses gutturaux. Mais S.O.T.S<\/b> arrive aussi \u00e0 nous \u00e9tonner avec des passages plus calmes en y ajoutant des voix claires. On peut les entendre seulement sur deux chansons \u00ab\u00a0Dreaming Desecration<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Death Whistle<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb, mais c’est tr\u00e8s bien dos\u00e9 et \u00e7a rajoute la profondeur n\u00e9cessaire pour en faire de tr\u00e8s bonnes chansons, et \u00e0 mon avis une agr\u00e9able surprise pour les auditeurs.<\/span><\/p>

En ce qui me concerne \u00ab\u00a0Absolvere<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb, l’album est une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour le groupe. Les membres se sont surpass\u00e9s pour nous offrir un album concept de grande qualit\u00e9. Il y a un gros travail artistique qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 produit ici. Il y a certes quelques d\u00e9fauts, quelques redondances ou d’impression de \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9j\u00e0 entendu\u00a0\u00bb sur certain riffs, mais cela s’oublie tr\u00e8s vite. Donc oui et oui. \u00ab\u00a0Absolvere<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb a r\u00e9pondu positivement \u00e0 mes deux questions. \u00ab\u00a0Absolvere<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb est le meilleur album du groupe, et il s’est d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait une place parmi les meilleurs sorties deathcore de 2021…<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
