Difficile de ne pas comprendre que \u00e7a vient de Russie, car c&rsquo;est marqu\u00e9 en toutes lettres sur la pochette de l&rsquo;album \u00ab\u00a0made in Russia\u00a0\u00bb. Et de vous \u00e0 moi, cette pochette est vraiment hideuse. 2021 est s\u00fbrement l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e la plus int\u00e9ressante concernant les sorties deathcore, avec des sorties de <b>Mental<\/b> <b>Cruelty<\/b>, <b>Osiah<\/b>, <b>Humanity&rsquo;s Last Breath <\/b>ou encore <b>Brand<\/b> <b>of<\/b> <b>Sacrifice\u00a0<\/b>: donc il va falloir \u00eatre tr\u00e8s costaud pour pouvoir sortir du lot. Vont-ils r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 se d\u00e9marquer des autres\u00a0? R\u00e9ponse maintenant\u00a0!<\/span><\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Que vaut <b>Slaughter to prevail<\/b> version 2021, et l\u00e0 on peut dire qu&rsquo;il y a eu un sacr\u00e9 changement. Que ce soit l&rsquo;aspect musical et l&rsquo;aspect du chant aussi. \u00ab\u00a0\u00c9volution\u00a0\u00bb n&rsquo;est peut \u00eatre pas le bon mot, car m\u00eame \u00e0 l&rsquo;heure actuelle je suis toujours mitig\u00e9 par le r\u00e9sultat final et donc de ce changement ! Est-ce du g\u00e9nie ? Ou une catastrophe annonc\u00e9e\u00a0? L&rsquo;attraction principale de ce groupe est bien entendu le chanteur aka <i>Alex Terrible<\/i>. Et \u00ab\u00a0Terrible\u00a0\u00bb c&rsquo;est peut \u00eatre pas l&rsquo;adjectif que je donnerais pour d\u00e9crire sa prestation. Il faut dire que le monsieur a un sacr\u00e9 coffre ! Il sait tout faire\u00a0: des cleans, des growls, du guttural&#8230; Mais j&rsquo;ai vraiment eu du mal \u00e0 accrocher avec le r\u00e9sultat final et notamment m\u00e9langer le russe et l&rsquo;anglais, le clean, le growl et le guttural \u00e7a fait beaucoup, surtout avec des paroles sorties d&rsquo;une classe de coll\u00e8ge (\u00ab\u00a0<u>Baba Yaga<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb). Je trouve qu&rsquo;il en font trop pour un r\u00e9sultat d\u00e9cevant. C&rsquo;est vraiment dommage car ils ont vraiment tout ce qu&rsquo;il faut pour faire de grandes choses. Mais comme je le disais pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment je suis pris entre deux feux\u00a0: le g\u00e9nie ou la catastrophe ? Pour le moment c&rsquo;est pas la catastrophe, mais on est tr\u00e8s loin du chef d\u2019\u0153uvre. Mais l&rsquo;intention de vouloir proposer un deathcore plus \u00ab\u00a0mainstream\u00a0\u00bb est louable. M\u00eame si on se rapproche dangereusement du metalcore. C\u00f4t\u00e9 musical, les musiciens sont bons. Mais voil\u00e0, vouloir \u00eatre mainstream et se la jouer \u00ab\u00a0metalcore\u00a0\u00bb n&rsquo;apporte malheureusement pas grand chose \u00e0 se mettre sous la dent. Le son est propre, quelques breaks bien plac\u00e9s. Mais vouloir changer de direction peut \u00eatre dangereux.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pour conclure, j&rsquo;ai eu du mal \u00e0 accrocher dans leur nouvelle direction plus \u00ab\u00a0mainstream\u00a0\u00bb prise par le groupe. Donc ce n&rsquo;est d\u00e9finitivement pas un coup de g\u00e9nie (\u00e0 l&rsquo;heure actuelle en tout cas). M\u00eame si musicalement \u00e7a tient la route, mais sans \u00eatre r\u00e9volutionnaire. Leurs intentions sont louables, m\u00eame si pour moi il y a un manque de r\u00e9ussite et d&rsquo;originalit\u00e9.
