Divis\u00e9 en deux parties nomm\u00e9es respectivement \u00ab\u00a0Damnation\u00a0\u00bb (CD1) et \u00ab\u00a0Salvation\u00a0\u00bb (CD2), ce nouvel opus compte alors vingt-quatre chansons qui nous replongent et qui relancent le d\u00e9bat mill\u00e9naire entre le bien et le mal\u00a0; avec notamment un th\u00e8me central ax\u00e9 sur\u00a0Judas Iscariot. Le batteur Niklas Kahl nous en dit plus&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-fade129 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"fade129\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-84bedd3\" data-id=\"84bedd3\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-685ec22 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"685ec22\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>RiskTheDeath\u00a0: Avec les p\u00e9riodes de confinement, comment \u00ab <\/b><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><i><u><b>Judas<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b> \u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 compos\u00e9: s\u00e9par\u00e9ment ou collectivement ? <\/b><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><i><b>Class<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b> avait confi\u00e9 pendant la promotion de \u00ab <\/b><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><i><u><b>Swan Songs III<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b> \u00bb que les membres du groupe avaient travaill\u00e9s s\u00e9par\u00e9ment sur des id\u00e9es qui seraient utilis\u00e9es pour l&rsquo;album suivant.<\/b><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium; font-family: Georgia, serif;\">NIK : Bien s\u00fbr, chacun est toujours libre de travailler sur des id\u00e9es, mais pour \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-size: medium; font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><u>Judas<\/u><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium; font-family: Georgia, serif;\">\u00a0\u00bb, nous avons fait un camp d&rsquo;\u00e9criture, comme nous l&rsquo;avions d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait pour \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><i style=\"font-size: medium; font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><u>Thornstar<\/u><\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium; font-family: Georgia, serif;\">\u00a0\u00bb. Nous nous sommes donc enferm\u00e9s avec une partie de notre \u00e9quipe et quelques musiciens amis dans les <\/span><i style=\"font-size: medium; font-family: Georgia, serif;\">Studios Chameleon<\/i><span style=\"font-size: medium; font-family: Georgia, serif;\"> \u00e0 Hambourg pendant une semaine, o\u00f9 nous avons travaill\u00e9 en \u00e9quipes diff\u00e9rentes chaque jour. C&rsquo;est l\u00e0 que nous avons \u00e9crit la majeure partie de l&rsquo;album. Apr\u00e8s le camp d&rsquo;\u00e9criture, nous sommes pass\u00e9s directement \u00e0 la mise au point des d\u00e9tails et avons commenc\u00e9 les enregistrements. C&rsquo;\u00e9tait donc quelque chose d&rsquo;assez collectif.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b><br \/><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>RTD\u00a0:<\/b><b> \u00ab <\/b><i><u><b>Judas<\/b><\/u><\/i><b> \u00bb est-il uniquement inspir\u00e9 du Nouveau Testament ou est-ce qu&rsquo;il y a \u00e9galement des parties romanc\u00e9es ? Qu&rsquo;est-ce que tu dirais pour convaincre quelqu&rsquo;un qui est r\u00e9ticent \u00e0 l&rsquo;id\u00e9e de plonger dans un album qui relatent des faits bibliques ou religieux ?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><p>NIK : \u00ab\u00a0<i><u>Judas<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb n&rsquo;est pas un album religieux ou biblique. C&rsquo;est un album sur le personnage de Judas lui-m\u00eame. Il s&rsquo;agit des r\u00e9cits que nous connaissons de lui, plus nos propres r\u00e9flexions sur la fa\u00e7on dont il aurait pu \u00eatre. C&rsquo;est tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant, m\u00eame pour les personnes qui ne sont pas tr\u00e8s chr\u00e9tiennes.<\/p><p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"LORD OF THE LOST - Priest (Official Video) | Napalm Records\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xL3pC-_p4Bk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>RTD\u00a0: D\u00e8s \u00ab <\/b><u><b>Priest<\/b><\/u><b> \u00bb vous introduisez un leitmotif qui revient plusieurs fois dans l&rsquo;album : comment vous est venu cette id\u00e9e ? C&rsquo;\u00e9tait quelque chose qui vous trottait dans la t\u00eate ?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">NIK : Quel que soit le th\u00e8me d&rsquo;un film hollywoodien que vous entendez, si c&rsquo;est Le Seigneur des Anneaux, Harry Potter, Star Wars, vous avez toujours ce genre de choses dans les bandes sonores. Nous avons pens\u00e9 que pour un album conceptuel de 24 chansons, il serait absolument parfait d&rsquo;avoir un leitmotiv.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>RTD\u00a0: Dans ce titre \u00e9galement, on retrouve des paroles qui semblent venir de \u00ab <\/b><u><b>Jesus He Knows Me<\/b><\/u><b> \u00bb de Genesis : ce groupe est-il une influence pour vous ? Ou est-ce un hommage \u00e0 ce groupe ?<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><br \/>NIK : C&rsquo;est juste une question de place, mais c&rsquo;est aussi un bel hommage \u00e0 l&rsquo;un des plus grands groupes de tous les temps, je pense.<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>RTD\u00a0: <\/b><b>On pourrait presque dire que les nombreux visages de Judas sont traduits par les diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9motions et ambiances pr\u00e9sentes dans l&rsquo;opus: est-ce le but recherch\u00e9 ?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><p>NIK : Nous voulions essayer de voir le personnage de Judas sous autant de perspectives diff\u00e9rentes que possible. Bien s\u00fbr, nous avons pris tous les faits \u00e9crits que nous connaissons sur Judas, mais nous avons aussi r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi \u00e0 ce qu&rsquo;il aurait pu \u00eatre d&rsquo;autre. Et bien s\u00fbr, tout cela est perceptible dans le son, pas seulement dans les paroles.<\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>RTD\u00a0: La majorit\u00e9 des albums de Lord of the Lost sont assez longs, et notamment \u00ab <\/b><i><u><b>Empyrean<\/b><\/u><\/i><b> \u00bb qui comportait 19 titres, puis 20 morceaux pour \u00ab <\/b><i><u><b>Thornstar<\/b><\/u><\/i><b> \u00bb: l&rsquo;id\u00e9e de concevoir un double album est-elle une volont\u00e9 d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part ? <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><p>NIK : Il \u00e9tait absolument clair d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but que Judas serait un double album. Cela semblait juste.<\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>RTD\u00a0: Lord of the Lost a toujours \u00e9volu\u00e9 et notamment visuellement, cette fois-ci on vous retrouve avec un maquillage d&rsquo;un \u00ab J \u00bb qui ressemblerait presque \u00e0 une croix invers\u00e9e : est-ce un signe provocateur ou un signe purement esth\u00e9tique ?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><p>NIK : L&rsquo;une des plus grandes choses dans <span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Lord of the Lost<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> pour moi, c&rsquo;est que dans tout ce que nous faisons, il y a encore tellement d&rsquo;espace pour les interpr\u00e9tations. Certains disent que c&rsquo;est une croix invers\u00e9e, d&rsquo;autres disent que c&rsquo;est un \u00a0\u00bb J \u00ab\u00a0&#8230; J&rsquo;ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 entendu quelqu&rsquo;un qui a vu une \u00e9p\u00e9e dans ce signe. Chaque fois que vous m\u00e9langez des choses ensemble, de nouvelles choses sont cr\u00e9\u00e9es.<\/p><p class=\"default-western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>RTD\u00a0: Aujourd&rsquo;hui, pas mal de groupes sortent leurs albums en vinyle et en cassette : qu&rsquo;est-ce qui vous a pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 sortir \u00ab <\/b><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><i><u><b>Judas<\/b><\/u><\/i><\/span><b> <\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>\u00bb dans ces formats ?<\/b><\/span><b> <\/b><\/p><p>NIK : Le vinyle fait un retour en force ces derniers temps. Certaines personnes aiment simplement le son grattant de la vieille \u00e9cole, pour d&rsquo;autres c&rsquo;est le fait que le vinyle est beaucoup plus durable que les CD.
