de gemmes cach\u00e9es. <b>Ophidian I<\/b> est encore un groupe que je ne connaissais pas, et que j&rsquo;ai appris son existence gr\u00e2ce au label <i>Season of Mist<\/i>. Du coup, j&rsquo;ai lu quelques avis et je me suis dit pourquoi pas ? Le groupe vient de Reykjavik et je m&rsquo;attendais \u00e0 du post metal ou black metal. Mais en fait pas du tout !!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00ab\u00a0<i><u>Desolate<\/u><\/i>\u00a0\u00bb est le deuxi\u00e8me album du groupe, et vient 9 ans apr\u00e8s leur premier effort\u00a0! Leur deuxi\u00e8me livraison est un rouleau compresseur de technical death metal, rien que \u00e7a !! Offrant 10 chansons pour une dur\u00e9e d&rsquo;approximativement 40 minutes, l&rsquo;album de ne vous l\u00e2che pas d&rsquo;une seule seconde. En fait si, juste 20 secondes avec l&rsquo;intro \u00e0 la guitare s\u00e8che de \u00ab\u00a0<u>Captive Infinity<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb. Mais sinon, vous allez en prendre plein la&#8230; Les riffs sont complexes, la batterie est en mode \u00e9pileptique tout du long, les growls sont ultra ma\u00eetris\u00e9s et que dire de la production et du mix&#8230; Juste parfait ! Le style particulier du technical death metal r\u00e9serve des surprises\u00a0: le groupe malgr\u00e9 la puissance et la violence de leur style arrive n\u00e9anmoins \u00e0 exploiter leur son pour qu&rsquo;il soit accessible aux plus nombreux. D\u00e8s l&rsquo;ouverture de l&rsquo;album, le groupe ouvre le bal avec un riff principal ultra catchy de \u00ab\u00a0<u>Diamonds<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0; chez certains groupes, il faut reprendre l&rsquo;\u00e9coute du riff plus d&rsquo;une fois pour comprendre ce qu&rsquo;il se passe. Mais pas ici, on l&rsquo;a en t\u00eate facilement et rapidement ! \u00ab\u00a0<u>Spiral to Oblivion<\/u>\u00a0\u00bb se lance, et on a droit \u00e0 1 minute 10 de d\u00e9monstration technique de la part de tous les musiciens, je suis rest\u00e9 sans voix. La chanson se divise en 3 sections. Chaque section dure environ 1 minute et 10 secondes\u00a0: la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tant l&rsquo;intro, la deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9tant le gros parpaing sonore et cerise sur le g\u00e2teau, la derni\u00e8re partie de la chanson est ultra m\u00e9lodique, notamment avec le magnifique solo. \u00ab\u00a0<u>Sequential Descen<\/u>t\u00a0\u00bb est certainement une de mes chansons pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e, les solos des guitaristes sont justes incroyablement beaux et techniques. \u00c7a me donnerait limite envie de reprendre ma guitare et de faire semblant d&rsquo;\u00eatre aussi bon qu&rsquo;eux.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #222222;\">Bon, inutile de vous faire du track par track, car je me r\u00e9p\u00e9terai\u00a0: tout ce que vous devez savoir c&rsquo;est que cet album sera dans mon top 3 de 2021 en technical death metal. Les compositions sont aux petits oignons, les musiciens s&rsquo;en donnent \u00e0 c\u0153ur joie et \u00e9tonnamment il n&rsquo;y a aucune faiblesse dans chacune des chansons propos\u00e9es ici. Le son est immense et le mix est parfaitement bien dos\u00e9. Et la dur\u00e9e de l&rsquo;album est juste impeccable\u00a0: ni trop court ni trop long. J&rsquo;en suis \u00e0 15 \u00e9coute d\u00e9j\u00e0\u00a0! Donc c&rsquo;est vraiment une joie d&rsquo;y revenir \u00e0 chaque fois. Le seul regret c&rsquo;est de n&rsquo;avoir pas eu droit \u00e0 une instrumentale, mais c&rsquo;est vraiment pas grand chose, car il y a tellement de choses \u00e0 diss\u00e9quer qu&rsquo;il vous faudra plusieurs \u00e9coutes pour appr\u00e9cier ce gros pav\u00e9 sonore. En esp\u00e9rant ne pas attendre 9 ans pour leur prochain album. Maintenant c&rsquo;est \u00e0 vous de
