D\u00e9j\u00e0 applaudi par la critique, \u00ab\u00a0<em><u>Etemen \u00c6nka<\/u><\/em>\u00a0\u00bb est un album concept de science-fiction aux textes et contextes bien r\u00e9fl\u00e9chis dans lequel on trouve une douceur complexe mais d\u00e9licate ainsi qu&rsquo;une sauvagerie imposante. Ce nouvel opus offre donc un parfait \u00e9quilibre entre riffs lourds et ambiances a\u00e9riennes, tout comme le faisait leur premier essai, mais ils poussent les choses plus loin que dans le pass\u00e9. De ce fait, aujourd&rsquo;hui ils proposent un contenu dense aux sonorit\u00e9s diff\u00e9rentes qui tirent plus vers le progressif, notamment avec la pr\u00e9sence de notes de synth\u00e9 tr\u00e8s 80&rsquo;s, qui apportent une bonne dynamique et plus d&rsquo;options cr\u00e9atives. Tandis que \u00ab\u00a0<em><u>Asherdan<\/u><\/em>\u00a0\u00bb parlait des relations avec notre entourage et avec l&rsquo;environnement, \u00ab\u00a0<em><u>Etemen \u00c6nka<\/u><\/em>\u00a0\u00bb propose des \u00e9motions polarisantes en \u00e9voquant des questions sociales et plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, le rapport humain au pouvoir et les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s. \u00ab\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">En\u00fbma Eli\u0161<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb ouvre le bal en faisant une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence directe au mythe de la cr\u00e9ation babylonienne ainsi qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque Gilgamesh. Inspir\u00e9 des livres \u00ab\u00a0<em><u>Terminal World<\/u><\/em>\u00a0\u00bb d&rsquo;<em>Alastair Reynolds<\/em> et \u00ab\u00a0<em><u>Altered Carbon<\/u><\/em>\u00a0\u00bb de <em>Richard K Morgan<\/em>, \u00ab\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Towers<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb conte le travail de plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de travailleurs contraints de participer \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de plusieurs tours gigantesques; tandis que \u00ab\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">S\u00ec-XIV<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb raconte la m\u00eame histoire du point de vue des classes populaires domin\u00e9es vivants dans des conditions difficiles. Enfin l&rsquo;\u00e9coute se termine sur les morceaux \u00ab\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Weighing of the Heart<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Omega Severer<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Asphodel<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb o\u00f9 les chanteurs <em>Victor Vicart<\/em> et <em>Daniel Barter<\/em> sont rejoins par la belle <em>Lissa Robertson<\/em> qui apporte une autre coloration et une profondeur au chant typ\u00e9 post-metal (voire m\u00eame black metal). Bien que le nom du groupe fasse r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9pop\u00e9e intemporelle de science-fiction \u00ab\u00a0<em><u>Dune<\/u><\/em>\u00a0\u00bb de <em>Frank Herbert<\/em>, le groupe tient \u00e0 cr\u00e9er son propre univers.
