D\u00e9couvrir une nouvelle chanson, un nouvel EP ou un nouvel album de <\/span>Kardashev<\/span> est toujours une exp\u00e9rience \u00e0 part. Depuis 2017, l\u2019ann\u00e9e o\u00f9 j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert le groupe, je prends claque apr\u00e8s claque, et il m\u2019est presque impensable d\u2019imaginer \u00eatre d\u00e9\u00e7u par l\u2019une de leurs sorties, un jour. Avant d\u2019\u00eatre un groupe uni de quatre musiciens, <\/span>Kardashev<\/span>, c\u2019est avant tout deux t\u00eates pensantes: <\/span>Nico Mirolla<\/span> \u00e0 la composition et <\/span>Mark Garrett<\/span> au chant. Ce duo \u00e0 l\u2019origine du mouvement deathgaze (fusion de \u00ab\u00a0death metal\u00a0\u00bb et de \u00ab\u00a0shoegaze\u00a0\u00bb), m\u2019a litt\u00e9ralement retourn\u00e9 le cerveau. Et je peux l\u2019affirmer sans h\u00e9siter, <\/span>Mark Garrett<\/span> est \u00e0 mes yeux le frontman le plus talentueux de sa g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Ses voix claires sont touch\u00e9es par la gr\u00e2ce, et ses growls semblent jaillir tout droit des entrailles de l\u2019enfer. Son talent est tout simplement \u00e0 couper le souffle. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, les compositions de <\/span>Nico Mirolla<\/span> deviennent de plus en plus prenantes: qu\u2019elles soient \u00e9motionnellement charg\u00e9es ou d\u2019une agressivit\u00e9 ma\u00eetris\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>

\u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Alunea<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0, leur troisi\u00e8me long format, est la suite directe de \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>The Almanac<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0, qui \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, un petit bijou (plus orient\u00e9 deathcore). Pour l\u2019occasion,<\/span> Mark Garrett<\/span> a m\u00eame cr\u00e9\u00e9 son propre langage pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de son concept et de la vision qui relie ces deux \u0153uvres. Techniquement parlant, ce nouvel album est la meilleure production du groupe \u00e0 ce jour. \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Liminal Rite<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9tait excellent, mais souffrait d\u2019un mixage \u2014 notamment au niveau de la batterie \u2014 qui pouvait nuire \u00e0 l\u2019exp\u00e9rience globale. Ce nouvel album, en revanche, est l\u2019apog\u00e9e de leur carri\u00e8re. Il serait presque inutile de faire un track-by-track, tant chaque titre s\u2019encha\u00eene et s\u2019imbrique pour ne former qu\u2019une seule et unique chanson : un concept de 42 minutes. \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Alunea<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0, c\u2019est le parfait \u00e9quilibre entre beaut\u00e9 musicale et violence sonore. Une entit\u00e9 aussi magnifique que dangereuse. Une exp\u00e9rience aux multiples facettes et audacieuse qui d\u00e9passe le concept m\u00eame du deathgaze que le groupe avait lui-m\u00eame d\u00e9fini.<\/span><\/p>

Les moments de contemplation, la d\u00e9ferlante sonore, la technique pure, la joie, la peine, la souffrance, la d\u00e9livrance\u2026 Tous ces sentiments seront pr\u00e9sents lors de l\u2019\u00e9coute de ce petit bijou qu\u2019est \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Alunea<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0.
