Il est toujours int\u00e9ressant de prendre du recul pour voir l’\u00e9volution musicale tout au long de la carri\u00e8re d\u2019un groupe. En effet, parmi eux, on peut prendre l\u2019exemple d\u2019<\/span>Ingested<\/b>. En effet, car au fur et \u00e0 mesure que le temps passe la bande semble freiner sur la violence dite \u201cgratuite\u201d et essaie de donner plus de corps \u00e0 leur musique : cela reste tout de m\u00eame du deathcore, ne vous affolez pas ! Mais on peut dire qu\u2019<\/span>Ingested<\/b> fait toujours du violent, mais avec plus d’\u00e2me ! <\/span>Et c\u2019est le cas aujourd’hui avec la sortie de leur derni\u00e8re offrande, o\u00f9 le groupe ajoute une nouvelle facette \u00e0 leur musique. Vous vous souvenez de leur tout premier album \u201c<\/span>Surpassing the Boudaries of Human Suffering<\/span><\/i>\u201d ? On \u00e9tait sur du pur slam death sans concession, alors qu\u2019avec ce 7\u00e8me album qu\u2019est \u201c<\/span>The Tide of Death and Fractured Dreams<\/span><\/i>\u201d, on tient-l\u00e0 l’album de la maturit\u00e9 : un album qui prouve qu’on peut \u00eatre tr\u00e8s violent tout en voyageant vers d’autres horizons. Visuellement, le rendu de cette pochette est beaucoup plus \u00e9pur\u00e9 et esth\u00e9tique : c\u2019est certainement la plus belle de leur discographie, mais elle est aussi tr\u00e8s \u00e9loign\u00e9e des pochettes plus morbides et malsaines des d\u00e9buts.<\/span><\/p>

Comme je vous l’annon\u00e7ais, cette nouvelle offrande est celle de la maturit\u00e9 artistique, et celle des prises de risques. Justement faisons les choses diff\u00e9remment cette fois-ci : commen\u00e7ons par la fin de cet album avec \u201c<\/span>A Path Once Lost<\/span>\u201d. Le d\u00e9bat, l’\u00e9ternel d\u00e9bat devrais-je dire, vous l’aurez compris? On parle bien des \u00ab\u00a0cleans\u00a0\u00bb. Est ce que les chants clairs ont leur place dans le death metal? <\/span>Ingested <\/b>prend le risque sur cet album d’en mettre sur plusieurs chansons, et \u00e7a colle parfaitement. L’introduction d\u2019\u00e0 peine quelques minutes est tout en douceur et met en place la pi\u00e8ce ma\u00eetresse avant le dernier coup de massue des anglais. Dans ce morceau, tout y est : la dualit\u00e9 entre les cleans et les growls, des temps calmes et des passages tr\u00e8s heavy et enfin le solo\u2026 et justement on en voudrait presque plus. En clair, c\u2019est une tr\u00e8s bonne conclusion pour un album. Maintenant que vous connaissez la fin, permettez-moi de revenir un peu en arri\u00e8re, et vous parler de \u201c<\/span>Numinous<\/span>\u201d qui se situe au milieu de la tracklist de cet album. C\u2019est un titre totalement instrumental qui d\u00e9stabilisera les fans de la premi\u00e8re heure du groupe : en effet, car on est tr\u00e8s loin du carnage que le groupe a tendance \u00e0 proposer. Mais c’est une excellente transition entre deux moment \u00ab\u00a0brutaux\u00a0\u00bb, et musicalement c’est beau, c’est tr\u00e8s simple mais terriblement efficace. \u201cEfficace\u201d, c’est certainement le ma\u00eetre mot : on est tr\u00e8s loin de la d\u00e9ferlante technique des premiers albums, les compositions sont beaucoup plus simplistes et rentre-dedans, mais elles sont plus travaill\u00e9es et les ambiances sont plus recherch\u00e9es\u2026 c’est comme si le groupe s’\u00e9tait r\u00e9invent\u00e9. Les morceaux comme \u201c<\/span>Paragon of Purity<\/span>\u201d, \u201c<\/span>Endless Machine<\/span>\u201d ou encore \u201c<\/span>Panth\u00e9ons<\/span>\u201d sont du Ingested pur souche, \u00e7a tape et \u00e7a fait mal par l\u00e0 o\u00f9 \u00e7a passe. \u201c<\/span>Expext to Fail<\/span>\u201d en featuring avec <\/span>Josh Middleton<\/span><\/i> de <\/span>Sylosis <\/b>est certainement la meilleure piste de l’album : l’alchimie entre les deux frontmen est r\u00e9elle, et cela donne un pur moment de death metal ultra ma\u00eetris\u00e9. Ensuite, quel plaisir de retrouver <\/span>Mark Hunter<\/span><\/i> de <\/span>Chimaira <\/b>sur \u201c<\/span>In Nothingness<\/span>\u201d. Cela donne une nostalgie des ann\u00e9es 2000. Du coup vous l’aurez compris, ces 10 nouvelles pistes proposent du nouveau et d’autres consolident la r\u00e9putation du groupe anglais dans le royaume du deathcore.<\/span><\/p>

\u201c<\/span>The Tide of Death and Fractured Dreams<\/span><\/i>\u201d n’est pas forc\u00e9ment le meilleur album des anglais, mais c’est certainement l’album de la maturit\u00e9 musicale et du renouveau d\u2019<\/span>Ingested<\/b>. Il fid\u00e9lisera les nouveaux fans et \u00e9loignera peut \u00eatre les anciens, mais en tout cas pour ma part, le groupe continue de faire ce qu’il sait faire… du bon gros metal !<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
