Les fers de lance du technical death metal fran\u00e7ais sont de retour pour leur 6<\/span>\u00e8me<\/span><\/span> album intitul\u00e9, \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Legend<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0. <\/span>Fra\u00eechement sign\u00e9 chez le grand label <\/span>Season of Mist<\/span>, <\/span>Exocrine <\/span>veut frapper fort, tr\u00e8s fort. En t\u00e9moigne une nouvelle fois l’artwork somptueux et gigantisme de cette nouvelle offrande. <\/span>\u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Legend<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb <\/span>s’annonce plein de promesses, avec des ambitions d\u00e9mesur\u00e9es mais sera-t-il \u00eatre \u00e0 la hauteur des attentes ?<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

D\u00e9mesur\u00e9, c’est certainement le terme qui correspond le mieux \u00e0 cet album, le combo fran\u00e7ais r\u00e9alise ici, une prouesse musicale technique \u00e0 s’en fendre le cr\u00e2ne. En plus d’\u00eatre une vitrine technique ahurissante, <\/span>Exocrine <\/span>en profite pour soigner son c\u00f4t\u00e9 plus m\u00e9lodique (\u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Eidolon<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0) mais aussi (et surtout) plus \u00e9pique et th\u00e9\u00e2tral (en t\u00e9moignent \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Presage<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb et l’excellent final \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>By the Light of the Pyre<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0). Les chansons se suivent et on en redemande encore, le groupe arrive naturellement et sans trop d\u2019artifices \u00e0 nous en mettre plein les oreilles, sans que cela soit sur-exag\u00e9r\u00e9. Mais les fran\u00e7ais ont envie de voir du pays et s’autorisent quelques surprises tout au long de l’album, avec des sons plus \u00e9lectro bien plac\u00e9s : surtout dans la chanson \u00e9ponyme \u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Legend<\/span>\u00ab\u00a0, o\u00f9 la petite trompette vient faire son apparition pour donner une autre dimension artistique \u00e0 l’ensemble. La production et le mix sont en ad\u00e9quation avec le style de musique, les instruments se d\u00e9marquent les uns des autres, pour un r\u00e9sultat homog\u00e8ne. Mais une partie de moi aurait aim\u00e9 une prod plus lourde, plus en ad\u00e9quation avec l’artwork, mais c’est le fan de gros son qui parle. Il faudra plusieurs \u00e9coutes afin d’assimiler cet album, car la musique est aussi exigeante que leurs musiciens et tout ne peut \u00eatre encaiss\u00e9 \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re \u00e9coute, c’est ce qui donne encore plus d’int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 cet album.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

\u00ab\u00a0<\/span>Legend<\/span>\u00a0\u00bb <\/span>est \u00e0 ce jour le meilleur album du groupe, tant au niveau de l’\u00e9criture, qu’\u00e0 l’ex\u00e9cution. Un album qui fera l\u00e9gende dans la discographie du groupe.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
