C&rsquo;est une d\u00e9monstration technique de ce que le death metal doit \u00eatre aujourd&rsquo;hui. La production y est pour beaucoup, l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre entre le old school et le moderne est ici dos\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re quasi-parfaite. Le mix est vraiment aux petits oignons, et surtout celui de la basse, qui est absolument jouissif. Le groupe prend un malin plaisir \u00e0 changer de tempo et nous en mettent plein les oreilles : les guitares sont incisives et tranchantes \u00e0 souhait, le travail autour du riff a \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement l\u00e9ch\u00e9 et le jeu du batteur est loin d&rsquo;\u00eatre monotone. Sur ces 4 minutes, le groupe encha\u00eene les changements de rythme et nous balade dans ces changements de section \u00e0 outrance : \u00e0 croire qu&rsquo;il y a 3 chansons en une seule. C&rsquo;est dantesque ! Je ne me r\u00e9p\u00e9terai pas sur les 9 autres pistes qui composent ce nouvel album, car elles sont toutes calibr\u00e9es pour faire mal aux nuques et chacune d&rsquo;elles apporte une pierre \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9difice. Une chose est s\u00fbre, le message du groupe est clair : les papis du death metal sont de retour et ce n&rsquo;est certainement pas pour faire de la figuration. Ils ont pris le temps, mais les compositions sont brutales, et c&rsquo;est clairement le nouveau mantra du groupe : faire du brutal avec du brutal pour des\u2026 Bon vous m&rsquo;avez compris ! Le groupe est en grande forme.
