Chaque actualit\u00e9 concernant Steven Wilson est un \u00e9v\u00e8nement. Que se soit l’annonce surprise du retour de Porcupine Tree, ou la sortie de \u00ab\u00a0The Harmony Codex\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e0 peine l’\u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re retour de Porcupine Tree termin\u00e9. Cependant, la r\u00e9v\u00e9lation de la pochette m’a s\u00e9rieusement interpell\u00e9. Steven Wilson avait annonc\u00e9 que les morceaux les plus \u00ab\u00a0metal\u00a0\u00bb avait provoqu\u00e9 le retour de Porcupine Tree, ce qui sous entendait que l’album serait forc\u00e9ment plus calme, \u00e0 l’image du reste de sa carri\u00e8re solo. La pochette de \u00ab\u00a0The Harmony Codex\u00a0\u00bb le confirme et m\u00eame plus que \u00e7a : le fond gris et les petits cubes de couleurs en escalier, semblent beaucoup plus tendre vers de l’exp\u00e9rimental que du metal voir m\u00eame du rock.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

L’impression se confirme d\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res notes de \u00ab\u00a0Inclination\u00a0\u00bb, le rock\/metal est compl\u00e9tement abandonn\u00e9, et ce, tout au long de l’album. M\u00eame la pop, que Steven Wilson admire beaucoup et qui caract\u00e9rise sa carri\u00e8re solo, n’est presque pas pr\u00e9sente. Les divers instruments ont toujours eu une part tr\u00e8s importante dans les compositions, mais tout change dans \u00ab\u00a0The Harmony Codex\u00a0\u00bb. Se sont des nappes de synth\u00e9s et des arrangements \u00e9lectroniques qui dominent chaque chanson pour des ambiances tr\u00e8s \u00e9th\u00e9r\u00e9es et exp\u00e9rimentales. Je me sens comme un commentateur de rugby (c’est important de coller \u00e0 l’actu du moment !) qui doit commenter du hockey sur gazon ! Je suis assez incapable de juger ce qui compose cet album de Steven Wilson, je ne ma\u00eetrise pas ses \u00e9l\u00e9ments et je suis assez perdu. Le style para\u00eet assez ma\u00eetris\u00e9, mais je trouve que les morceaux se ressemblent un peu tous.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Je comptais beaucoup sur le retour de l’excellente Ninet Tayeb, qui avait pos\u00e9 sa voix sur la superbe \u00ab\u00a0Pariah\u00a0\u00bb de l’album \u00ab\u00a0To The Bones\u00a0\u00bb. Elle chante sur le titre, qui pourtant me donnait de l’espoir, \u00ab\u00a0Rock Bottom\u00a0\u00bb, mais la mayonnaise ne prend pas dans mon cas, je suis assez herm\u00e9tique \u00e0 ce style. M\u00eame la voix de Ninet Tayeb ne me para\u00eet pas aussi belle et envoutante que sur \u00ab\u00a0Pariah\u00a0\u00bb, je ne sens pas d’\u00e9motion. Je pense que la musique me bloque sur tout le reste. Quelques passages ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 attirer mon attention, dont \u00ab\u00a0Impossible Tightrope\u00a0\u00bb avec une tr\u00e8s belle section rythmique sonnant quasiment comme du Djent, mais qui malheureusement ne dure pas. Je ne saurais pas vous parler d’autres morceaux, tant je n’ai pas les codes du style. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00ab\u00a0The Harmony Codex\u00a0\u00bb est un album totalement d\u00e9routant, comme j’en ai rarement \u00e9cout\u00e9. Si vous cherchez un album \u00ab\u00a0classique\u00a0\u00bb de Steven Wilson (m\u00eame si le terme classique pour Steven Wilson c’est d\u00e9j\u00e0 un concept !). vous allez \u00eatre aussi perdus que moi je l’ai \u00e9t\u00e9. Mais si vous n’avez pas peur de partir \u00e0 l’aventure et d\u00e9couvrir quelque chose d’inattendu, foncez sur \u00ab\u00a0The Harmony Codex\u00a0\u00bb ! Je reconnais ne pas avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 d’une grande aide pour vous aider \u00e0 vous faire un avis, mais je ne voulais pas vous influencer n\u00e9gativement, je n’accroche pas \u00e0 l’album mais je ne me sens pas l\u00e9gitime \u00e0 critiquer cet album puisque je n’en ai pas les codes !<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
